Shara is lucky that those two already have tons of respect for her because of the whole "saved our hides in the jungle" thing. And that they are both people who don't overthink things too much (Chris does a bit more than Fernanda, but still).

Someone else might instantly go down the route of "She is the one who has this strange connection with the telepathic artifact - who knows what she's up to now". But for Chris and Fernanda it is mostly just "Because of her I - and my fresh lover - are still alive, she's good in my books.".
