<the remaining expedition survivors are gathered around a fire>
---
Katharina: ... I am not a priest. I don't know the exact words to say in this situation. The last time I was at a funeral was when my mother died, and I was around four at that time, so ... I don't remember a lot. It would probably have something to do with asking Mahn to guide our fallen friends to their rest and into the arms of Lhûn.
---
Katharina: It doesn't matter anyways, since not everyone we lost was human. And I know even less about what to say for a BARIAN or BYZARIAN funeral ... or a DRAK one. It's not important. What's important is that we remember them for the people they were, and wish them the best for ... whatever lies ahead of them now. Because we have our OWN struggles ahead of us now.
---
Katharina: All we can do is be thankful that there is someone left to lean on ... and promise ourselves that we will mourn PROPERLY once there is time to do so. And ... that we will never forget them.
---
Katharina: I am very sorry if that all sounds HEARTLESS ... but that is all I can say right now. The world is too big, it doesn't care about our grief. It doesn't care about US. So we have to care about EACH OTHER.
---
Katharina: That's ... that's it. If anyone else wants to say something, please go ahead.
